Returns after hours are not permitted.
Insurance & drivers license:
Customer must provide a current insurance card for the vehicle pulling the trailer. Towing vehicle registration & insurance card must be in the name of person singing rental agreement. Customer must supply a current drivers license. Customer must be at least 18 years old.
Towing vehicle must be of proper size, have proper hitch and light plug. If the trailer has brakes the tow vehicle must have a working brake controller. Drawbars, tie-down straps, hitch pins and other items that may be needed for you trailer rental are available for rent.
First call the police, then notify your insurance provider, then notify Alaska Trailer Rentals at 907-306-9876.
If the trailer is stolen, notify the police then call Alaska Trailer Rentals at 907-306-9876.
We do not offer hourly rates.
Our daily rate is for 24 hours. For example- if you rent a trailer at 2pm on Wednesday, it is due back at 2pm the next day on Thursday. We have a 30-minute grace period; if the trailer is returned after the grace period you will be charged an additional day rate.
7 days for the price of 5! Our week rate is for 7 days but you only pay for 5. If you take a trailer for 5, 6 or 7 days you will only be charged the week rate for that trailer. If the trailer is not returned by the 7th day you will be charged an additional day for every day you are past the week rate.
We offer 2 different weekend rates. If you pick up the trailer Friday and return by 9am Monday you will only be charged 2 day rates for that unit. If you pick up Saturday and return by 9am Monday you will only be charged one day rate for that unit.

Reservation Deposit and Cancellation:
We require a $50.00 deposit to hold a reservation and a 72-hour (3 days) cancellation notice. If the reservation is cancelled without a 72-hour notice the deposit is non-refundable.
A security charge of $250.00 dollars will be due at the time of pick up. We will credit your card when the unit is returned and checked in with no damage. Any damage will be deducted from your security deposit. Any damage amounts over the $250.00 dollar security deposit will be added to your credit card charge.
Units must be returned empty, and clean, inside and out. If they are not cleaned you will be charged a minimum clean out fee of $50.00, this will be deducted from your security deposit.
